Partnership with DIU
The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) and the Daffodil International University (DIU) have reached a remarkable landmark in their commitment to academic excellence and professional advancement in accounting. On Monday, May 13, 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed at Conference Room, DIU Campus, marking a new era of collaboration and opportunity for students and professionals. The MoU was signed by Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA Vice President of ICMAB, and Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, DIU, in a ceremony witnessed by key representatives from both institutions. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zakaria Masud FCMA, Director of Academic Affairs Division, and Professor Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, DIU witnessed the ceremony.
This agreement facilitates DIU students and graduates to benefit from course exemptions and admission scholarships when pursuing the CMA program. The collaboration extends beyond these benefits, with ICMAB and DIU committing to work together in areas that align with their core business interests. During the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of DIU, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, expressed his gratitude towards ICMAB and encouraged faculty members to nurture this partnership through innovative activities. ICMAB Vice President, Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, lauded DIU for their cooperation and emphasized the partnership’s role in promoting excellence, innovation, and advancement in the accounting profession. The initiative was praised by all participants who agreed to actively work towards fulfilling the objectives set out in the MoU.

ICMAB COURSE WAIVER FOR DIU BBA GRADUATES
DIU BBA graduates shall enjoy the waiver facility for pursing CMA program from ICMAB fulfilling the requirements of Table 1. Moreover, students aspire to pursue CMA program simultaneously with DIU BBA program, shall enjoy waiver of the listed ICMAB subjects (under ‘subject to subject’ waiver of table 1) if they have completed the corresponding subject(s) from DIU with minimum average GPA of 3.20 in a 4-point scale.

ICMAB ADMISSION SCHOLARSHIP FOR DIU GRADUATES
DIU BBA/MBA graduates shall enjoy the admission scholarship facility for pursing ICMAB courses. The scholarship covers the ICMAB admission cost (i.e., Tk. 28,500) as stated in Table 2.
