ICMAB signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AIUB
The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) on June 4, 2024, at the AIUB Permanent Campus, located at 408/1 (Old Ka-66/1), Kuratoli Road, Dhaka-1229, Bangladesh.
Representing ICMAB, Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, Vice President, and Mr. Abdul Matin Patwary FCMA, Treasurer and Mr. Md. Abdul Maleque, Additional Director of the Education Department, attended the MoU signing ceremony. AIUB was represented by Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Director of the MBA/EMBA Program, along with other faculty members from the Business Faculty.
This MoU will benefit AIUB graduates by providing course waivers and scholarships on admission costs, in accordance with ICMAB’s exemption and scholarship policies as outlined in the MoU.
Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, Vice President of ICMAB, and Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. The event concluded with a gift handover and a photo session.

ICMAB COURSE WAIVER FOR AIUB BBA GRADUATES
- AIUB BBA graduates shall enjoy the waiver facility for pursing CMA program from ICMAB fulfilling the requirements of Table 1. Moreover, students aspire to pursue CMA program simultaneously with AIUB BBA program, shall enjoy waiver of the listed ICMAB subjects (under ‘subject to subject’ waiver of table 1) if they have completed the corresponding subject(s) from AIUB with minimum average GPA of 3.20 in a 4-point scale.

ICMAB ADMISSION SCHOLARSHIP FOR AIUB GRADUATES
- AIUB BBA/MBA graduates shall enjoy the admission scholarship facility for pursing ICMAB courses. The scholarship covers the ICMAB admission cost (i.e., Tk. 28,500) as stated in Table 2.
