We are pleased to announce that the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) is going to organize an exclusive training program titled “Accounting for Freelancing with QuickBooks”. This program is designed to equip participants with essential accounting knowledge and practical QuickBooks skills, enabling them to efficiently manage their finances and businesses. Please note that the sessions will be conducted by highly skilled professional(s) as per the requirement of National Skilled Development Authority (NSDA). By the end of the course, participants will able to:

  1. Understand essential accounting principles tailored for freelancing.
  2. Configure QuickBooks for business operations.
  3. Accurately record and categorize freelance earnings and expenses.
  4. Generate professional invoices and manage client payments.
  5. Analyze cash flow, project profitability, and financial performance using QuickBooks.
  6. Simplify tax preparation with organized financial records.
  7. Create key reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  8. Utilize QuickBooks features specific to project-based work and client management.

Course Details:

  • Duration: 4 weeks (8 sessions)
  • Session Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Saturdays and Tuesdays each week)
  • Start Date: February 25, 2025
  • Delivery Mode: Online / In-Person
  • Venue: Training Center of ICMAB Annex Building, Dhaka and Virtual (Link will be shared later)
  • Fee per Person:      (a).   ICMAB Students: Tk. 4,000.00 (In-Person)/Tk. 2,000.00 (Online)

(b).   Non-ICMAB Students: Tk. 8,000.00 (In-Person)/Tk. 4,000.00 (Online)

  • Registration Closing Date: Subject to seat availability In-person Delivery mode.

Certification:

  1. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from ICMAB upon successful course completion.
  2. Participants may also obtain a certificate from NSDA, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, participating in a separate examination conducted by NSDA.
