Invitation to register for Certificate Course on “VAT & SD Act. 2012 “.

Dear Students,

We are pleased to inform you that the Training Department of the Institute is planning to hold a Certificate Course on “VAT & SD Act. 2012 ” for the students of ICMAB. This course aims to develop the participants’ structural knowledge and skills regarding several aspects of the Value Added Tax (VAT) & Supplementary Duty Act 2012, as amended, up-to-date on individuals, firms, corporations, NGOs, etc. Details for the training are given below: 

Contents of the Training:

  • Overview of new VAT & SD Act, 2012.
  • Registration, Amendment and deregistration.
  • Imposition and collection of VAT.
  • Guideline of withholding VAT.
  • Input VAT Rebate and Refund mechanism.
  • VAT Accounting along with VAT Return preparation and submission.

 Mode of Training:

  • In-person (40 seats are available; the first come, first serve rule will apply)
  • Digital Platform (Link will be given Later only to registered participants for the Training Course)

 Session/Class Details:

  • Total Sessions/Classes: 6 (six) Sessions/Classes (2:30 hours each)
  • Session/Class Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Start Date: February 17, 2024
  • Last Date of Admission: February 14, 2024 (Seats are subject to availability for in-person)                                                                                                                                                           
  • Weekly Sessions/Classes: Saturday, Monday and Wednesday of every week
  • Venue: Training Centre of ICMAB, Nilkhet, Dhaka-1205, as well as Digital platform

Certification:   On successful completion, participants will get a certificate signed by the President of ICMAB.

 Fee per participant: Tk. 2,000.00 for in-person/Tk. 1,000.00 for online
