ICMAB arranged a briefing session on signed MoU with CPA Australia and MRA with CPA Irelan

ICMAB arranged a briefing session on signed MoU with CPA Australia and MRA with CPA Ireland on 3 December 2022 at ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, Dhaka. The session was presided over by the President Mr. Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA. Institute’s Vice President Mr. Md. Munirul Islam FCMA and Mr. Imtiaz Alam FCMA, Secretary Mr. AKM Kamruzzaman FCMA, Treasurer Mr. Md. Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA and Professor & Director, Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Zakaria Masud FCMA were present in the briefing session. Past Presidents, Mr. A S M Shaykhul Islam FCMA, Mr. A K M Delwer Hussain FCMA and Mr. Mohammad Salim FCMA, many council members and fellow & associate members of the Institute also were present in the program. Mr. Mohammad Zakaria. Mr Mohammad Zakaria Masud FCMA, Director – Academic affairs delivered a presentation on the details of the MoU and MRA. The President along with the office bearers also highlighted the significant aspects of the MoU and MRA with CPA Australia and CPA Ireland respectively. They also described the benefits of members that can be achievable through the MoU and MRA with both PAOs and responded to the queries of the members present.

ICMAB has signed the MoU with CPA Australia and the MRA with CPA Ireland in the recent World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) 2022 held at Mumbai, India. On behalf of ICMAB, Mr. Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA, President and Mr. Imtiaz Alam FCMA, Vice-President and on behalf of CPA Australia and CPA Ireland, Mr. Andrew Hunter, CEO, CPA Australia and Ms. Aine Collins CPA, President, CPA Ireland signed respectively. With signing this MoU, members of ICMAB will be required to pass only one subject through examination for getting the membership of CPA Australia and through MRA with CPA Ireland, members of ICMAB shall be able to avail CPA Ireland membership under a special gateway with passing only two courses.
