Workshop on Identifying Problems and Determining Solutions in the E-Return System for Online Submission

A workshop titled “Identifying Problems and Determining Solutions in the E-Return System for Online Return Submission” was organized by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) on March 16, 2025. The event took place at the Multipurpose Hall, Revenue Building (3rd Floor), Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.

The workshop was honored by the presence of Mr. Md. Abdur Rahaman Khan FCMA, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), who served as the Chief Guest. The event featured in-depth discussions on the various functionalities of the e-return system, potential challenges, and possible solutions. NBR has taken this initiative to enhance the accessibility and transparency of the e-return submission process for taxpayers.

At the invitation of NBR, a four-member delegation from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) participated in the workshop. The delegation included ICMAB Vice President Mr. Abdul Matin Patwary FCMA, Director (CAD) of ICMAB Mr. Md. Shafiqul Islam Talukder FCMA, Fellow Members Mr. Md. Saifur Rahman FCMA and Mr. Md. Mohiman FCMA. During the workshop, Mr. Abdul Matin Patwary FCMA provided valuable recommendations for improving the E-Return System for Online Submission and facilitating the taxpayer experience.
