The area-based workshop on “IAS-16 and IFRS-15: Case Study and its Impact in Financial Statements” was held at Mirpur, Dhaka.

On Friday, November 24th, 2023, the Training Department of the Institute organized a day-long workshop focused on “IAS-16 and IFRS-15: Case Study and its Impact in Financial Statements”. The workshop took place from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at City Mahal Party Centre, Mirpur-1 in Dhaka, based on a specific study area. Mr. Mohammad Salim FCMA, Council Member and Past President of ICMAB, was present as a guest of honour. Mr. Md Maksudur Rahman FCMA, Council Member of ICMAB, moderated the workshop. The Past President and Council Member of the Institute, Mr. Mohammad Salim FCMA, inaugurated the workshop. 

The workshop consisted of two sessions. The first session was conducted by Mr. Md. Shafiqul FCMA, Managing Partner & CEO of SACo and Chairman of Bizz Solution Plc. It took place from 9 am to 12 noon. The second session began at 3 pm and ended at 6 pm, and was conducted by Mr. Md. Mokhlesur Rahman FCMA, CFO of Edison Footwear Limited. A total of 88 members of the Institute registered for the training program, and most of them attended the session in person.

Mr. Mohammad Salim FCMA, Past President and Institute Council Member, concluded the workshop. He was the Guest of Honour and expressed his gratitude towards the Training Committee for organizing and successfully conducting the workshop. He also thanked the training facilitators for making the workshop successful. Furthermore, he appreciated all the members who participated in the workshop and completed the program. At the end of the event, he presented the resource persons with a crest and a token of appreciation.
