Industry Visit for Senior Students of ICMAB to Shanti Bottled Water Production Plant

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) organized an Industry Visit with a team consisting of 10 Senior Students who have completed at least 1200 marks to Shanti Bottled Water Production Plant at Dhaka WASA, Plot-8, Sec-10, Mirpur, Dhaka on 24 November, 2024. This visit aims to provide students with industry insight, process understanding, and valuable hands-on experience, helping them create networks and perform better in the job interviews.

Mr. Md. Alamgir Arif, Assistant Engineer, Shanti Bottled Water Production Plant, conducted two sessions. In 1^st session, he discussed on the layout of Shanti Bottle Plant, description, plant inspection and testing water quality in the lab as well as actual observation etc. He also discussed on various processes in different parts of plant operation. In his 2^nd session, he discussed the quality of Raw water, R & O water, treated water, online observation of water quality in the lab and discussed about bottled water and environment.

Among others, Mr. Zillur Rahman FCMA, Vice- Chairman, Placement Committee, ICMAB and Mr. Md. Azimuzzaman, Plant Manager, BWPP, Dhaka WASA were present at the program.
