ICMAB organized a career counselling seminar at the World University of Bangladesh

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has organized a career counselling seminar on “Professional Management Accounting Education in Bangladesh: Implications for the Business Graduates” on 25 January 2023 at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB), Uttara, Dhaka as a part of the promotional activities of the Institute. The chief guest of the program, Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, WUB, highly appreciated ICMAB’s initiative and requested to organize such programs on a regular interval. Special guests of the program Mr. Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, Secretary, ICMAB and Mr. S. M. Zahir Uddin Haider FCMA, Council Member of ICMAB addressed the audience highlighting the skill sets required in the contemporary contexts of global business.

Professor Dr. Mohammad Zakaria Masud FCMA, Director, Academic Affairs Division of ICMAB spoke in the seminar as the Resource Person. Dr. Masud highlighted several aspects of the CMA Profession including the benefits of having a CMA qualification in the achievement of the highest echelon in the organizational hierarchy. Dr. Selim Ahmed, Head, School of Business, WUB, chaired the seminar and delivered the vote of thanks. Assistant Professor, Mr. Md. Moniruzzaman, School of Business, WUB, moderated the session. Chairpersons of different departments, faculty members, and a good number of students from the School of Business participated in the program and raised several queries to learn about the CMA program.
