ICMAB Hosts Vibrant Orientation Program for New Students

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) hosted a dynamic and engaging orientation program for the newly admitted students of the January–June 2025 session on March 7, 2025, at the Ruhul Quddus Auditorium in Nilkhet, Dhaka. The event welcomed a large gathering of students, guardians, and esteemed council members, making it a memorable and inspiring occasion.
ICMAB President Mr. Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA delivered an insightful address, encouraging students to strive for excellence in their journey to becoming professional accountants. He highlighted the significance of knowledge and expertise in today’s globalized world, motivating students to embrace continuous learning and ethical practices.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zakaria Masud FCMA, an advisor to ICMAB, provided an in-depth overview of the CMA program, outlining its structure, benefits, and career prospects. His presentation offered valuable guidance to new students, helping them understand the roadmap to success in the accounting profession.
Adding further value to the program, Mr. Mohammed Jahangir Alam FCMA, Council Member and Chairman of the Student Affairs Committee, shared his expertise through an engaging presentation. He provided practical insights and strategic advice to help students navigate their academic and professional journeys effectively.
The event was further enriched by the presence of ICMAB Vice-Presidents Mr. Md. Kausar Alam FCMA and Mr. Abdul Matin Patwary FCMA, along with Secretary Mr. Hasnain Thoufiq Ahmed FCMA. They delivered inspiring speeches, emphasizing the importance of dedication, perseverance, and professional integrity in shaping successful careers.
