ICMAB Delegation met Hon’ble Head “The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Reform Commission”.

A delegation from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) headed by its Vice-President Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, met Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Executive Director, TIB & Head, ACC Reform Commission on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at his office. The ACC Reform Commission has sought input from relevant stakeholders to propose necessary reforms to the ACC. ICMAB delegates expressed their views on independence, capacity building, good governance, transparency, accountability, integrity etc. of ACC. The delegates also updated Commission about the ICMAB, expertise of their members and their profound desire to contribute in the reform process of the interim government for the greater interest of the nation.

Among others, Mr. Abdul Matin Patwary FCMA, Treasurer, ICMAB, Mr. Hasnain Thoufiq Ahmed FCMA, Council Member & Group Business Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rahimafrooz Group and Mr. Mohammed Jahangir Alam FCMA, Council Member, ICMAB were present.
