ICMAB Delegation Meets Commerce Minister

A delegation of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) headed by its President Mr. Mohammed Salim, FCMA called on Mr. Tofail Ahmed, MP , Minister for Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh at his office on October 02, 2014. The president updated the Minister about the overall affairs of the Institute and the progress of the ongoing initiatives. The prospects of developing strategic cooperation with similar foreign profession Institutes were also explained with due importance.

The Minister assured the President and the member of the Delegation of his continued support for the profession. Mr. A.S.M. Shaykhul Islam, FCMA Vice President, Mr. Jamal Ahmed Choudhury, FCMA, Secretary, Mr. Md. Abdur Rahman Khan, FCMA, Treasurer, Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed FCMA, Council Member and Past President, Prof. Dr. Swapan Kumar Bala FCMA, Council Member and Lt. Col. Md Humayun Kabir psc (Rtd.) Director of the Institute were among the delegates present on the occasion.
