ICMAB Delegation Called on Chairman of ACI Limited

A delegation of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) headed by its President Mr. Mohammed Salim, FCMA called on Mr. M Anis Ud Dowla, the Chairman of ACI Limited at his office on March 13, 2014.

The ICMAB delegation apprised the Chairman of ACI Limited of the role of Cost and Management Accountants and their contribution towards strengthening corporate governance and establishment of transparency, accountability and corporate governance in the business and industrial sectors of the country. The President, ICMAB also gave a brief description of ICMAB’s short and long range Strategic Development Plan and world-class IT based professional education.

The Chairman of ACI Limited appreciated the significant role of Cost and Management Accountants and assured of all possible help and assistance for the development of the Institute as well as the CMA profession.

Mr. A.S.M. Shaykhul Islam, FCMA Vice President, Mr. Muzaffar Ahmed, FCMA, Council Member, Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, FCMA, Chairman Dhaka Branch Council, and Mr. A.K.M Nazrul Islam, FCMA Executive Director of the Institute were among the delegates present. Mr. Pradip Kar Chowdhury FCA, Executive Director, Finance & Planning and Mr. Amitava Saha ,Head of Risk Management & Internal Audit of the ACI Limited were present on the occasion.
