ICMAB Celebrates International Accounting Day 2025 with Enthusiasm and Unity

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) celebrated International Accounting Day 2025 on November 10 with great enthusiasm, color, and professional spirit. The celebration reflected the Institute’s ongoing commitment to promoting excellence, integrity, and accountability within the accounting profession.
Observed globally on November 10, International Accounting Day honors the invaluable contributions of accountants and finance professionals who uphold transparency, trust, and precision in financial management across all sectors of the economy.

To mark the occasion, ICMAB organized a festive rally that began at its headquarters in Nilkhet at 4:00 PM. The lively procession moved through Katabon and the Dhaka University area before returning to the Institute premises. The rally brought together ICMAB council members, fellow and associate members, students, and staff, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and pride in the accounting community.
Leading the procession and proudly carrying the Accounting Day flags were Mr. Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, Vice President, Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, Council Member, Mr. S.M. Zahir Uddin Haider FCMA, Council Member, Mr. S.M. Shawon Mahmud FCMA, Chairman of the Dhaka Branch Council (DBC), Mr. Zillur Rahman FCMA, Vice Chairman, DBC, Mr. Md. Zasim Uddin FCMA, Treasurer, DBC, and Mr. Md. Mahbub Ul Alam FCMA, Executive Director of ICMAB.
The event also saw active participation from teachers, students, and members of the Institute, symbolizing the shared values of professionalism, dedication, and community spirit that define the accounting profession in Bangladesh.
