ICMAB and Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) Signed Memorandum of Understanding in Expanding Academic Collaboration

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) and Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) have reached a new milestone in promoting academic and professional excellence in accounting and finance. On Thursday, November 7, 2024, an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the JUST Seminar Room, symbolizing a strengthened partnership and expanded opportunities for students and professionals in Bangladesh. This collaboration also includes the transfer of the Jashore Study Centre to JUST, further integrating resources to support academic development.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, Vice President and Chairman of the Education Committee at ICMAB, and Mr. Mohammad Emdadul Haque, Registrar (In Charge) at JUST, in a ceremony attended by key representatives from both institutions.

Prominent ICMAB officials in attendance included Mr. Abdul Matin Patwary FCMA, Treasurer, and Mr. Md. Mahbub-Ul-Alam FCMA, Executive Director. Representing JUST were distinguished members such as Dr. Mohammad Kamal Hossain, ACCA, Chairman of the Department of AIS and Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies; Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam, Associate Professor; Mr. Tarun Sen, Assistant Professor; Mr. Hossain Ali, Assistant Professor; Mr. Fazlur Rahman, Lecturer; Mrs. Sanjida Afrin, Lecturer; Mr. Md. Moin Uddin, Lecturer; Mr. Md. Monirul Islam, Lecturer; and Mr. Md. Belal Hossen, Lecturer.
