Gratitude Program on BSEC’s approval in auditing Cost of Goods Sold Statement by the CMAs

A very successful Gratitude Program on BSEC’s approval in auditing Cost of Goods Sold Statement by the CMAs organized by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) was held on May 25, 2022 evening at ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, Nilkhet, Dhaka.

Mr. Md. Rafiq Ahmed FCMA the most senior fellow of the Institute, presided over the program. ICMAB’s President Mr. Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA moderated the program. The President informed the audience that, the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has approved our proposal for Cost of Goods Sold Statement (COGS) Audit by CMAs vide their letter No. BSEC/SRMIC/ICMAB/2022-222/203, dated May 22, 2022 on the basis of our request letter dated 16 February, 2022 and in reference to our several discussions, meetings with BSEC & stakeholders. He also expressed that, it was really a long-waited fruit of our countless efforts and thanked all past presidents, councilor, and members of the Institute for securing this milestone.

Muzahidul Islam FCMA, Mr. Dr. Syed Abdulla Al Mamun FCMA , Mr. Md. Mumlook Hossain FCMA, , Mr. Md. Mamun -Ur-Rashid Chowdhoury FCMA, Mr. Mohammed Masud Alam FCMA, Mr. Md. Mohiman ACMA and many more Fellows and Associates exchanged their views and expressed gratitude to the President, office bearer and the council members for their hearted dedications to the Institute and Profession . They also gave some suggestions for further development of the Profession.
