CPD Program on “Financial Reporting Act-2015” held

Chittagong Branch Council (CBC) of The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) organized a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program on “Financial Reporting Act-2015” on 14th November, 2015 at CMA Bhaban, Agrabad, Chittagong.

Mr. Mohammed Nazmul Hoque FCMA Chairman, Chittagong Branch Council of ICMAB presided over the Program. He praised the active contribution of honorable Prime Minister and Finance Minister in the enactment of FRA-2015.

The paper was presented by Mr. Ahmad Dawood FCA, FCMA, Chief Regulatory Officer, Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. Mr. Md. Shaifur Rahman Mazumdar FCA, FCMA, Director, Meenhar Group of Companies; Chittagong was present in the program as Session Chairman.

In his paper the paper presenter described various aspects of Financial Reporting Act-2015 and gave suggestions for improving active role of professional Accountants. A large numbers of Fellow & Associate members were participated in the questionnaire session conducted by Session Chairman.

The whole program was nicely conducted by CBC Secretary, Qazi Meraz Uddin Arif FCMA, and Mr. Mohammed Nurul Huda Siddiquee FCMA, Vice-Chairman, CBC offered the vote of thanks.
