A Distinctive Celebration for Senior Members “Celebrate Seniors, Inspire Generations” Together for a Joyful Day

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) organized a heartwarming and memorable event titled “Celebrate Seniors, Inspire Generations” to honor its esteemed senior members aged 65 and above. The celebration was held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, ICMA Bhaban, 3 Nilkhet, Dhaka-1205.

Mr. Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA, Secretary, Internal Resources Division and Chairman, National Board of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The session was presided over by Mr. Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, Vice President of ICMAB.

Renowned actor, director, and producer Mr. Tariq Anam Khan delivered an inspiring speech that deeply resonated with the audience, while popular stand-up comedian and presenter Mr. Kamar Uddin Arman captivated guests with a lively and entertaining performance.
The event was organized under the guidance of the ICMAB National Council by the Committee on Veterans Affairs and Engagement, led by its Chairman Mr. Md. Belayet Hossain FCMA, who also served as the moderator of the program.
Mr. Mohammed Jahangir Alam FCMA, Council Member of ICMAB, addressed the gathering, and Mr. Muhammad Shariful Islam FCMA, Vice Chairman of the Committee, delivered the vote of thanks.

The celebration paid tribute to the lifelong contributions of ICMAB’s senior members, offering a day of joy, reflection, and fellowship. It also marked the beginning of a new tradition—recognizing and engaging veteran members through meaningful initiatives that foster well-being, camaraderie, and intergenerational connection.
The auditorium was filled with warmth and nostalgia as senior members reunited with longtime colleagues, shared cherished memories, and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the initiative.
