A delegation from FRC, ICMAB and ICAB led by FRC Chairman met the Commerce Minister

A delegation from FRC, ICMAB, and ICAB led by FRC Chairman met the honourable Commerce Minister Mr. Tipu Munshi MP on 9 August 2023. The respected Minister patiently heard the delegation regarding the unlawful authorization of ICGA to confer professional accounting qualifications in Bangladesh. FRC Chairman, ICMAB President, and ICAB President briefed the Minister about the unlawful activities of ICGA and requested the Minister to cancel the letter issued by the Commerce Ministry on 26 July 2023 authorizing ICGA to confer professional accounting qualification.

Among others, Secretary of ICMAB, Mr. Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, past Presidents of ICMAB Professor Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed FCMA, Mr. Mohammed Salim FCMA, and Mr. Arif Khan FCMA attended the meeting.
