Award of Scholarship & Incentive
AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP & INCENTIVE
Applications in prescribed form are invited from the indigent and meritorious ICMAB registered students of professional level-I, II, III (old syllabus) & Business Level, Operational Level, Management Level (new syllabus) admitted in January- June & July- December, 2014 & 2015 session for granting Scholarship on condition. The applicant must have at least one 1st div./class or GPA 5.00/ CGPA 3.00 & two 2nd div./class or GPA 4.00 or CGPA 2.50 from SSC to Masters degree for following scholarships.
1. SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:
(A) A.F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation Scholarship:
4 (Four) Scholarships for Tk.24,000/-(Taka twenty four thousand) each will be awarded for 1 (one) year basis and will be continued for 3 (three) years.
(B) A.F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation Scholarship:
4 (Four) Scholarships for Tk.18,000/- (Taka eighteen thousand) each for a period of 1 (one) year.
(C) Al-Haj Tofazuddin & Golapjan Memorial (ICMAB) Trust:
1 (One) Scholarship for Tk.10,000/- (Taka ten thousand) for a period of 1 (one) year.
(D) Syed Manjur Elahi Scholarship:
4 (Four) Scholarships for Tk. 6,000/- (Taka six thousand) each for a period of 1 (one) year.
2. INCENTIVE:
(A) Muzaffar Ahmed Memorial (ICMAB) Trust:
Incentive of Tk. 3,000 (Taka three thousand) which will be given to 1 (one) student who obtains the highest marks in “Principles of Accounting” of Knowledge level/ Foundation Level.
(B) Ruhul Quddus Memorial (ICMAB) Trust:
Incentive for total Tk. 6,000/- (Taka six thousand) for 2 (two) students for 1 (one) year subject to obtaining highest & 2nd highest marks in the subject of “Management Accounting” of Professional Level-II/ “Fundamentals of Management Accounting” of Business Level and the rate of incentive will be Tk.3500/- & Tk.2500/- respectively.
(C) M. A. Matin & Dr. Nilufar Matin Welfare (ICMAB) Trust:
Incentive will be awarded of Tk. 2,500/- (Taka two thousand five hundred) for 1 (one) year subject to obtaining highest marks in the subject of “Business Economics and International Business” of Foundation Level/ Fundamentals of Business Economics of Business Level.
Note: Incentive will be given based on the results.
3. Students who will receive these Scholarships must appear in examination at the first opportunity and must pass the examination or at the immediate next examination. In any case the total period for passing a particular level must not exceed 12 months from the effective date of Scholarship. Failure to pass in the examination within this 12 months will result of loss of Scholarship for the next level.
4. Student(s) already receiving a Scholarship will not be eligible for these Scholarships.
5. Copies of the Certificates and Transcripts of all Examinations should be enclosed with the application.
6. The authority of all Scholarship trusts shall have the right to terminate the Scholarship if the student’s progress of studies & examination results are found unsatisfactory.
Prescribed Application Form will be available in Education Department, Head office or branch offices of ICMAB during office hours. The application forms are also be available in our ICMAB website at www.icmab.gov.bd. The applications are to be submitted to the Education Department, ICMA Bhaban, Nilkhet, Dhaka or respective branch offices of ICMAB on or before 31st August 2016.
